Yellow Ribbon Program

³ûÖÊÓƵ is a Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP) university - If VA eligibility requirements are met, the YRP adds up to an additional $22,610 to the Post 9/11 VA Education Benefits annual benefit. You can afford an excellent education at a private university.

Getting Started

As an honorably discharged veteran, you may have extensive Veteran's Administration (VA) benefits to use for your education.

  • Our Veteran's Service Office will assist you with getting your VA benefits started, and work with you to keep them each semester.
  • ³ûÖÊÓƵ will complete an assessment of any transfer credit from previous colleges or military training so you have a roadmap of what you need to complete to obtain your degree.
  • Additional scholarships may be available - More than 90% of our students receive financial aid.
  • Our goal is to make your transition to ³ûÖÊÓƵ as smooth as possible and to assist in every way.

For further information you can contact Angela Do, Associate Registrar and VA School Certifying Official, at (405) 208-5352 or [email protected].

The GI Bill® will pay you:

  • All resident tuition & fees for a public school.
  • The lower of the actual tuition & fees or the per academic year for a private school.

Your actual tuition & fees costs may exceed these amounts if you are attending a private school or are attending a public school as a nonresident student.

Institutions of Higher Learning (Degree Granting Institutions) may elect to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program to make additional funds available for your education program without an additional charge to your GI Bill entitlement.

Degree-granting institutions of higher learning participating in the GI Bill Yellow Ribbon Program agree to make additional funds available for your education program without an additional charge to your GI Bill entitlement. These institutions voluntarily enter into a Yellow Ribbon Agreement with VA and choose the amount of tuition and fees that will be contributed. VA matches that amount and issues payments directly to the institution.
