Kramer School of Nursing students and faculty went on their annual mission trip to Cookson, Oklahoma, last week. The town in the northeast part of the state is in a rural area that is medically underserved.
The students and faculty did community health activities in schools and neighborhoods. In addition to spending time in the field, participants also learned about the culture of the Native American people living in the area.
